He's so BIG!!

Well we went to the doctor for Jacksons 2 month check up (and shots, yuck) he is a happy and healthy little guy weighing in at, drumroll please...................................

17lbs 4 oz and 25 3/8 inches long!

My little overacheiver is off the charts, but we already knew that!! Next week we will be starting football :)
We made it out to Christmas Card Lane this year, Jackson mom and Grandma spent most of the time in the "chase car" - a very smart idea if you have little ones who don't particularly like the cold too much. The houses were fabulous and the Christmas spirit was alive and well! Next year we so want to do the horse drawn wagon for the tour, it was soo cool!
Here is Jackson and daddy checking out all the cool lights! Aren't they cute?
Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!

Growing up!

It's hard to believe he is almost 2 months old now, he is growing so fast! As of yesterday he is a healthy 15 lbs. 8oz. and 23 inches long.

We took this photo on thanksgiving, he and Jillian are almost the same size! That happened quick, I love his cheeks!!!

This one is after the thanksgiving weekend, just hanging with grandpa...

I promise not to take too long next time I post pictures. Life goes by too fast!

Settling in

So now that we are home and settling in we thought a blog would be the perfect way to keep in touch with everyone and share our sweet baby boy! He is growing way too fast already but I guess we will just have to get used to that...I find myself just sitting in the rocker and staring at him, kissing him and talking to him. He is a very good little boy! We are very lucky and oh so proud!!

Here is a great picture of his room, Grandma painted the neatest mural for him I love his room, it is so peacefull: If you look close you will see our initials carved into the tree, this was a special treat!

Our little angel is doing very well, he is sleeping, eating and doing all the normal baby things - we couldn't be more proud!! Here is one of my favorite pictures of him!
